Coconut Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 tsp baking soda
1/3 tsp salt
10 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 cup Clearly by Best Choice Brown Sugar
2/3 cup Clearly by Best Choice Sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp Clearly by Best Choice Vanilla
1 1/2 cups Clearly by Best Choice Coconut Flakes

Our Coconut Cookies are a true treat for coconut lovers. They’re made with Clearly by Best Choice Organic Coconut Flakes that give each bite a rich, natural sweetness and satisfying texture. With a perfect balance of chewy and crisp, these cookies are bursting with the tropical flavor of organic coconut. Simple, wholesome, and utterly delicious, they’re a sweet escape in every bite.

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a mixing bowl add the flour, baking soda and salt.

Gently stir dry ingredients with a fork and set aside. In a separate bowl add butter, brown sugar and white sugar.

Cream together with a mixer until butter is smooth and evenly distributed.

Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and beat until fluffy.

Begin adding the flour about a half cup at a time.

Once all the flour is added and dough starts to form stir in the coconut flakes.

Form the dough into small drop cookies, about 2 tbsp each, using a spoon or your hands to shape the cookies.

Place them on an ungreased cookie sheet leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are lightly toasted and golden on the edges.
