Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Just in time for your holiday cookie exchanges!
½ cup Best Choice Shortening
1 cup Best Choice White Sugar
2 Best Choice Egs
2 ¾ – 3 cups Best Choice Quick Oats
1 tsp Best Choice Baking Soda
Pinch of Best Choice Salt
Cream shortening and butter together in a bowl. Add sugars, egg and vanilla; stir until mixed. Sift together flour, soda and salt in a separate bowl, and add to creamed mixture. Stir in quick oats and chips.
Drop onto cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees. Don’t over-bake!
