16 oz Best Choice No-Boil Lasagna
12 oz of Best Choice Cottage Cheese
2 cups Best Choice Fancy Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
¼ cup Best Choice Parmesan Cheese
1 egg, beaten
¼ tsp Best Choice Salt
¼ tsp Best Choice Pepper
½ tsp Best Choice Garlic Salt
1 tbsp Best Choice Italian Seasoning
1 jar (26 oz) Best Choice Marinara (or other flavored pasta) Sauce
½ lb ground beef
½ ground Italian sausage
½ cup diced yellow onion.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sauté Italian sausage, ground beef and onion. Drain off excess fat. Add marinara sauce and simmer.
While meat sauce is simmering, grab a small bowl. Combine beaten egg, salt, pepper, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth.
To build lasagna, layer 4 strips of lasagna noodles lengthwise in prepared 9”x13” baking dish. Spread on 1/3 of the meat sauce followed by 1/3 of the cheese mixture. Repeat layer process two more times. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese. Cover lasagna with a piece of foil. Bake for 35-45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
