May is National BBQ Month! Celebrate with these tasty BBQ Chicken Pockets. They are super easy to bake up, so you can enjoy delicious BBQ any time. Serve as a main dish or appetizer.
1/4 cup Best Choice Shredded Breast of Chicken
1 tablespoon Best Choice BBQ Sauce (Add more if you like your BBQ saucy!)
1/4 cup Best Choice Fancy Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 tablespoons chopped green onion, separated
1 (8oz) can Best Choice Crescent Rolls
Additional BBQ sauce for dipping.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
In a small bowl, mix shredded chicken and BBQ sauce together. Once chicken is covered, stir in cheese and 1 tablespoon onions.
Unroll crescent dough and separate each triangle. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide-end of the triangle and gently roll into crescent form, sealing in the mixture.
Place completed chicken pockets in a greased baking pan and cook for about 10 minutes, until crescents are golden brown.
Remove from oven, top with remaining green onions and serve warm with additional BBQ sauce for dipping.
