Classic Apple Crisp

Ingredients

5 cups fresh apple slices

1/2 cup Clearly by Best Choice Sugar

1 teaspoon Clearly by Best Choice Cinnamon

1 teaspoon Clearly by Best Choice Vanilla

Topping:

1/2 cup Clearly by Best Choice all purpose flour

1/3 cup Clearly by Best Choice Old Fashioned Oats

1/2 cup Clearly by Best Choice Brown Sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Clearly by Best Choice Cinnamon

1/4 cup butter, melted

Apple Crisp Baked

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8×8 baking dish with Clearly Organic pan spray and set aside. Core, peel and slice about 6 fresh apples.

Combine apple slices, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Stir until apple slices are evenly coated.

In a separate bowl combine flour, oats, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon. Stir dry ingredients, then pour melted butter over the top so contents are evenly coated.

Place apple slices in greased baking dish. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.

Bake in a preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until apples are fork tender. Let cool for 30 minutes. Enjoy with vanilla bean yogurt or ice cream!
