Crunchy cereal, peanuts, and raisins are mixed with a touch of cinnamon and sugar for the great taste of cinnamon toast any time of the day!
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
Combine sugar & cinnamon, set aside.
Melt margarine in a large microwave safe bowl on high 40 seconds.
Gradually add cereal and peanuts, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
Microwave on high 2 minutes, stirring every minute.
Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over cereal mixture; add raisins and mix well.
Microwave on high 1 minute.
Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
Store in airtight container.
CONVENTIONAL STOVETOP:
Combine sugar and cinnamon, set aside.
Melt margarine in large skillet over low heat.
Gradually add cereal and peanuts, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated.
Cook 5 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently.
Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over cereal mixture; add raisins and mix well.
Continue to cook and stir, 1 minute.
Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
Store in airtight container.
