Usage Instructions
STOVE TOP: A heavy 2-quart pan works best. Melt over LOW heat stirring frequently until smooth. If a double boiler is used, place bark in boiler over, not boiling, water. Stir until melted. MICROWAVE: Microwave Bark Coating in microwave-safe container at 50% power (medium or defrost cycle) for 2 1/2 minutes, stir. Continue microwaving at 50% power for 30 second intervals until soft, stirring until smooth. TIPS FOR USING ALMOND BARK Always use dry utensils. Moisture causes Bark to harden. Always stir frequently to distribute heat. Even melted Almond Bark will retain its original shape until stirred. If coating becomes thick from overheating, add Best Choice Shortening 1 tablespoon or so at a time while heating over low heat. DO NOT USE water, milk, food coloring, oil, liquor, margarine or butter while thinning.
