Usage Instructions
Stovetop Cooking Directions 1. Bring 4 cups of water to boil in 2-qt. saucepan. Submerge 1 unopened bag of rice completely in water and boil uncovered for 8-10 minutes. 2. Remove bag with fork or tongs. Drain 3. Tear bag downward at corner. Pour rice into serving dish. Fluff with a fork and serve. If desired, add margarine and salt to taste. Prepare 2 bags by doubling water and using 4-qt saucepan Microwave Cooking Directions 1. Measure 4 cups HOT water in 2 qt. microwave – safe bowl. Submerge 1 unopened bag of rice completely in water. 2. Cover. Microwave on HIGH 8-10 minutes. 3. Remove bag with fork or tongs. Drain. 4. Tear bag downward at corner. Pour rice into serving dish. Fluff with a fork and serve. If desired, add margarine and salt to taste. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. We do not recommend using the microwave to cook multiple bags. For best results use the stovetop cooking method. For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time. For firmer rice, use less water. For softer rice, use more water. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or after cooking.
