German Grilled Brats

Ingredients

¼ cup Best Choice Unsalted Butter
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
48 oz bottles dark beer, such as Hofbräu Dunkel
2 packs Best Choice Original Bratwursts
10 Best Choice Hot Dog Buns

It’s a simple yet satisfying meal that’s perfect for any cookout or casual gathering!

Directions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the onions to the melted butter and stir for 5 to 10 minutes, or until tender and translucent.

Next, add the garlic and cook, stirring, for an additional 2 minutes.

Pour in the beer and let the sauce simmer while the brats are cooking on the grill.

Place the brats on the grill and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, turning often, until they reach 160°F.

Remove the bratwursts from the grill and simmer in the beer sauce for an additional 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve hot with the onions on the hot dog buns.
