DIRECTIONS:
Combine all marinade ingredients (everything minus the chives and shrimp) in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat; add chives and stir. Pour ½ the sauce in a small bowl to use during grilling.
Lay shrimp skewers flat in a rimmed cookie sheet pan. Brush 1 side with marinade and refrigerate for 2 minutes (until butter firms up). Flip over and brush the other side with marinade and refrigerate an additional 2 minutes.
Place shrimp skewers on grill and cook for about 2 minutes per side or just until cooked through and no longer transparent. Brush with marinade during grilling. Remove shrimp from grill and brush on reserved sauce before serving.
