Directions:
Make magic with these fabulous and fun bars. They’ll disappear as soon as you serve them.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat sugars, margarine and ½ cup peanut butter until well combined. Add egg and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Combine oats, flour, salt and baking soda. Stir into peanut butter mixture, blending well.
Spread evenly in ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Let stand 5 minutes; spread chocolate evenly over the top. Cool.
Cut into bars. Combine powdered sugar, remaining 2 tablespoons peanut butter and milk. Drizzle over top of bars.
Makes 36 bars.
