Party Meatballs



2 pounds lean ground beef

2 Best Choice Large Eggs, lightly beaten

1 cup Best Choice Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

1/2 cup Best Choice Dry Bread Crumbs

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

2 tablespoons Best Choice Superior Selections Grated Parmesan Cheese

1 tablespoon Best Choice Ketchup

2 teaspoons Best Choice Worcestershire Sauce

1 teaspoon Best Choice Italian Seasoning

1 teaspoon Best Choice Dried Basil

1 teaspoon Best Choice Salt

1/4 teaspoon Best Choice Pepper



1 3/4 cup Best Choice ketchup

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 1/2 cup Best Choice Apple Jelly

1 1/2 cup currant jelly

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the meatball ingredients thoroughly.

Shape meat mixture into 1-inch balls and place them in a shallow baking pan.

Bake the meatballs for 10-15 minutes.

While the meatballs are baking, combine the ketchup and cornstarch in a slow cooker.

Stir in jellies until everything is well combined.

Once the meatballs reach an internal temperate of 165°F, remove them from the oven and drain the grease.

Add the meatballs to the slow cooker and stir to completely coat them with the sauce.

Cover mixture and cook on low for 1 hour.

Switch to keep warm and enjoy the party!
