Smoothie Two Ways

The new year brings new habits and of course, new year resolutions. If your resolution is to eat more healthy, these two smoothie recipes will help you do just that this year. Both our Berry Smoothie Bowl and our Pineapple Berry Smoothie are two servings to share with a spouse or to save for the next day.

 

Berry Smoothie Bowl 

Our Berry Smoothie Bowl is a trendy and wholesome recipe that shakes up the standard smoothie bowl by adding yogurt and oatmeal for a thick and creamy breakfast or mid-day snack.

Here are the ingredients for your Berry Smoothie Bowl

Serves 2 

INGREDIENTS:

2 pouches of Strawberries and Cream Instant Best Choice Oatmeal 

1 frozen banana 

1 cup of frozen mixed berry Best Choice 

2 containers of Best Choice Yogurt in Vanilla or Strawberry 

1 tablespoon Best Choice Peanut butter 

Honey or sugar to taste 

Toppings: Sliced Strawberries, sliced bananas, Best Choice Chocolate Chips, Best Choice almond slivers 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Divide evenly among two bowls. 

 

Pineapple Berry Smoothie 

Add a splash of pineapple to your normal berry smoothie. A splash of apple juice and the creaminess of the frozen banana is a simple switch to the sometimes mandate smoothie.  Use this recipe as a guide to making this smoothie your own.

Here are the ingredients for the Pineapple Berry Smoothie

INGREDIENTS: 

1 cup of frozen or canned Best Choice Pineapple 

1 cup frozen Best Choice mixed berry   

1 frozen banana 

1 cup of Best Choice vanilla yogurt 

¾ cup of Best Choice Apple Juice 

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
