Directions:
In large bowl, beat cake mix, egg whites, water, and oil with an electric mixer for 2 minutes.
Using a cupcake pan and baking cups, pour the baking cups 2/3 of the way full. Place a marble in between the pan and the paper cup to create a heart shape out of the mix.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
While cupcakes are baking, use a rolling pin to flatten out the spice drops: sprinkle a pinch of sugar onto a cutting board. Flatten 2-3 drops and roll them together to make one large piece. Use a heart cookie cutter to cut the heart-shaped candy from the rolled out drops.
Allow cupcakes to cool completely before decorating. Caution: marbles will be extremely hot! Remove carefully from the cupcake pan. Frost cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and top each with candy heart.
