Giving Tuesday is just around the corner! What better way to give back and help your community than to save all your Best Choice® Family of Brands labels for your local non-profit? Learn how non-profits around the country participate in the Best Choice® Save-A-Label® program to help their local communities and what you can do to help them.
The Save-A-Label program gives community organizations, big and small, a simple way to raise funds. Simply buy products from the Best Choice Family of Brands at your favorite local grocer and save the UPC (proof of purchase) from the product’s label. Give the labels you collect to your favorite local organization to bundle the UPCs they receive into groupings of 1000 and send them into Best Choice. The organization will earn $30 cash for each bundle of 1,000 UPCs sent to us.
“The funds we receive from Save-A-Label are used to help those in need in our community in any way possible,” said Janet Wilson, a member of Phi Tau Omega Sorority – Kappa Alpha Chapter in Iola, KS.
“Over the last 20 years, Genesis Christian Academy has been able to keep and increase our art and music programs through funds from the Save-A-Label program,” said Denise Bixby, office manager and music teacher in Tonganoxie, KS.
“The Dyer School Relay for Life Team not only collect labels to participate in the Save-A-Label program,” said Pam Grady of Dyer County, TN, “we also receive a dollar match from our local Food Rite supermarket for the amount we were able to raise.”
“At St. Joseph Catholic School, the funds raised through the Save-A-Label program are used to support the teachers, staff, and students directly,” said Rose Scheinost of York, NE.
