Beer Battered Nacho Chili Cheese Fries


1 bag of Best Choice Regular Cut Fries

1 bottle of beer

1 cup of Best Choice Pancake Mix

1 teaspoon of Best Choice Paprika

1 teaspoon of Best Choice Garlic Powder

½ teaspoon of Best Choice powdered mustard

Salt and Pepper

Best Choice Vegetable Oil for Frying

Best Choice Flour for coating

1 jar Best Choice Cheddar Cheese Dip

2 cans of Best Choice Chili no beans

Optional garnish: Cilantro and lime juice


Mix the frozen potatoes with the flour until they are completely coated. 

In a bowl whisk together the pancake mix, garlic powder, paprika, mustard, and salt. Add the beer and whisk until completely mixed and no lumps form. Work in batches throwing the potatoes inside the batter and shake off the excess using a slotted spoon.

Carefully insert the battered potatoes inside a big pot of oil over medium heat. Stir to make sure the potatoes do not stick together. Fry until they are brown and crispy. About 3-4 minutes.

Place the fried potatoes on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil. Add salt and pepper.

If you wish to kick these fries up a notch, warm our Cheddar Cheese Dip. Assemble fries on a plate. Drizzle with Cheddar Cheese Dip.

For an added boost, top with warmed chili. Garnish with cilantro and the juice of a lime.
