Sweet, salty, and simply irresistible! Our Delicious Breakfast Cookies are made with rich Superior Selections by Best Choice Pure Maple Syrup, a sprinkle of Superior Selections by Best Choice Kosher Flake Salt, and bits of Superior Selections by Best Choice Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Pretzel Bark for the perfect balance of flavor. Enjoy them with your morning coffee or as an afternoon pick-me-up, they’re breakfast elevated!
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the mashed bananas, peanut butter, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract.
Mix until smooth and well combined.
Add the oat flour, flax seed, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
Stir in the oats, chia seeds, pretzel bark and walnuts.
Rest the dough in the fridge for at least 5 minutes while you clean up and put away your ingredients.
Use a large cookie scoop to scoop the dough onto prepared baking sheets, about 3 tbsp of dough per cookie.
Be sure to keep about 2-in. of space between each cookie.
Top each cookie with a few extra pretzel bark pieces.
Bake for 10 to 14 minutes until they’re set, but still soft.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with flake salt.
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
