Heart Brownie Drops

Ingredients

1 package Superior Selections by Best Choice Double Chocolate Brownie Mix
1/4 cup Best Choice Cocoa Powder
1/4 cup finely crushed peppermint candies
2 tbsp Best Choice Chocolate Syrup
3 tbsp water
1 Best Choice Large Egg
1 tbsp Best Choice Vegetable Oil
1/3 cup Best Choice Powdered Sugar, for rolling

Treat someone special (yourself included!) to Heart Brownie Drops, made with rich Superior Selections by Best Choice Double Chocolate Brownie Mix and finished with adorable Cherry Jelly Hearts. These bite-size treats are fudgy, festive, and the perfect way to share a little love this Valentine’s Day.

 

Directions
Stir together brownie mix, cocoa, and crushed peppermint candies in a large bowl.

Add the syrup, water, egg, and oil, beating until well blended.

Refrigerate until firm enough to roll, about 1 hour.

Heat the oven to 350°F.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.

Shape the dough into 1-inch balls.

Roll balls in powdered sugar and place on prepared cookie sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven until set, 9 to 11 minutes.

Cool for 2 minutes.

Press jelly heart pieces into the center of each cookie.

Slide parchment paper and cookies to a wire rack or remove cookies from cookie sheet to a wire rack.

Cool completely.
